wht is the procedure for duplicate EAD application ? Can someone explain am in the same boat i haven't recieved mine but my spouse got her's.

Does the "Receipt Rule" apply if an approved EAD is lost in email and a replacement EAD is applied for. The documentation mentions that it is valid to accept the EAD receipt for upto 90 days after joining date or for 90 days after reverification(which I presume happens after the current EAD expires)

I am from Ireland and its for a Multi national manager or executive. My attorney told me that form her experience it takes 4-6 weeks after approval of the I-140 as the visa numbers are current. Bit apprehensive to give the company as I dont see a need for anyone to know this info???

Barring the obvious differences like the larger viewfinder & LCD screen which are good and the frustrating differences such as not being able to re use the batteries from the D70 along with the switch to the SD card. The pleasant surprise comes when setting down to do a post edit after shooting and seeing the improved image quality. The first thing I noticed was the greater detail in the eyes. I've uploaded two images cropped and untouched taken straight from the camera. Both were shot under similar conditions, overcast day, both in a wooded area with trees overhead and a fill flash used in both. The first image is from the D70 and the second is from the D80. This very well could be a battle of the lenses as well, 70-300mm vs the 18-200mm, both Nikkor. Regardless of which is responsible for the improvements I like what I see.

Hello Everyone,
I got a D80 a little while ago, and am slowly learning how to use it. I used to use my dads D70, but decided that it was time for a DSLR of my own. Anyone have any tips or tricks that they have found along the way?

It's always good to have the right info on the form. If I remember correctly - you may request to correct the info 48 hours before your scheduled interview at the respective consulate or VFS (please double check).
I have had issues before with the online form i.e. my full address was not printed out correctly, in another situation I filled the form for my parents and forgot to sign the form (prepared by). There was never an issue. We all got VISA without a question

Hello all,
I had my 140 reinstated in Feb-09 after it was denied back in 08 (filed motion to reopen). Last week i inquired about the status of my case since my visa category is current (VB 02/2003), I received a letter yesterday informing me that the case is out of the processing date, my 140 priority date is 12/2002. is this a mistake or my priority date has change to feb-09?
Can you please share your case details? what was the reason for 140 denial? After you filed MTR, how long it took for them to reinstate?

Let us be very clear, we are MORE THAN WILLING to associate with any org that can be beneficial to us. One of the members of IV had established contact with USINPAC and it has been a very fruitful association
If anyone can do the same thing with any other org (could be 'Chinese Physicians Association', or 'Russians in America' or 'Canadians in USA' or even 'Americans for High Skilled Immigrants' - please note that I made up all the names, but please get the gist) please take the inititative and let us know how it goes.
Also note, that even if we associate with an org primarily working for a particular country, all our issues will benefit EVERYONE from every country. It is impossible to press for an amendment like 'Ability to file I485 without regard to visa number for Indian Nationals only'. The US Government doesn't allow that and neither will IV go in that direction.
The keywords here are 'publicity and exposure'. We really need that to protect our amendments in the Senate and the House Conference

My I-485 was filed in month of August 2008 under EB2 .I was laid off from my I-485 sponsoring employer(A) in month of August 09 and i took another Job with employer (B) in same field in month of Sep 09. I did not file AC21 as my previous employer's(A) attorney advised not necessary to file AC21.Now I am getting new offer from another employer(C) in same position but this new employer(C) wants me to file AC21 .
What are my options now? Should i file AC21 for employer (B) first and then file AC21 for employer (C) or should i directly file AC21 for employer (C).
I will greatly appreciate your reply.

Hi,
I have applied 485 through a lawyer. The lawfirm sold their company to some one else. I was asked to file G28 and I didn't file for G28 yet.
I got a mail saying I was sent RFE n Feb 4th. I haven't received the letter yet. Would the RFE go to lawyer or me?
What should I do now?

Every time I call USCIS to inquire if my I-140 is filled under EB2 or EB3. They ask me to ask my lawyer or employer to call. They won't tell me. I do have a copy of I-140 that states it is Eb2 (Advance degree and all) but I am concerned about what is there in USCIS system.
I cannot ask my previous enployer to call as I have left the company using AC21.
Please advise what is the solution?
