Some additions I'd like to see (maybe for a 'pro' version):
Processor: bus speed
Memory: how many open slots
HD: speed of HD
Optical: speed of Superdrive
Display: external monitor spanning vs. mirroring
Price: US$ as well
Ports: PowerBooks have a PC card slot; also maybe a separate category for audio
Notes: maybe make a separate box for "Last Updated"

really weird and frustrating, huh. �240 (just under $400) for 8gb in the UK from crucial, or anywhere else i've seen. 4GB is merely 1/2 that.
don't think you can get it any cheaper. and it's probably going to stay there. urgh.

oh my god, superdirve and bluetooth?
who ever thought of that as a rumor for the upcoming powerbook:p
macworld had a thing on bluetooth being the future for the next generation macs and there must be dozens of posters here calling for a superdrive in a powerbook
these things probably all need to happen before we see either a dual G4 powerbook or, later on, a G5 powerbook
i don't want to wait til late-2003 or early-2004 to get bluetooth and superdrive as a new thing when the G5 powerbook most likely will be announced, if they even call the post-g4 laptop that

It works on my iPad 2. It shows the Netflix red screen on my iPad and then the stream on my TV with the audio coming from my TV. I don't have to do anything special aside from plug the cables in and we're good to go. I don't have any additional display apps on my iPad.

I haven't seen anything mentioned here as a decent game that's not also available in Japan. All they sell here are the Jap imports and they have all the "names" mentioned here...plus the Pokemon game everyone's on "pins and needles" for :p

I wonder if cuda would run on the 9400? graphics chip? that would help get some extra ppd. Too bad you can't change graphics boards in that monster iMac, it seems like it could use faster graphics for that large monitor.

Not much to say about the design, it's a Dreamweaver template right? It works well enough.
Just a thought but you might be better running your site off a blogging platform, like WordPress (http://wordpress.org). It would probably make things a lot easier for you, especially when it comes to updating your content.

So you're trying to get a regular digital camera to work for webchat?
Just get a Macally IceCam. They're cheap (in the US :rolleyes: ) and they work well. You'd still need iChatUSB, but I know that iChatUSB works for sure with the IceCam, as that's what it says on the IceCam box. ;)
I don't use AIM or iChat though, and I use aMSN and my IceCam works out of the box. :)

Definitely do not send it back to the guy. If you're going to do anything, send it to your friend and have her make the exchange and check the phone and make sure it's working as it should. (Hopefully she knows a thing or two about iPhone's)
