Contribute for what. I would , If I am told for what we are contributing. What are the real faces.
I am not one of those who can go advocate at places as I do not have luxury of it. I respect people who are going beyond their daily schedule and advocating, but what are the goals.
I however want to contribute not *donate* if I know what am I going after.
For any advise the standard answer we get is - Consult your immigration lawyer.
I dont want to dampen the interests of others who are ready to contribute. Tell me few reasons and I can contribute a decent amount.
May be we should make this paid. and then I will find my reason and I will pay to join

I know that females are disproportionately represented in these forums - even so.........I would like to see more women participate. Going forward, I will give $10 towards even female who signs up (upto 10 memberships). If you cannot find company, exercise with a cell phone and pepper spray on you.

The first step you should get your employer to do is to file a job order in the state job bank or americas job bank. You have to keep this ad for 30 days and then wait another 30 days to file PERM. This is the longest time. All other forms of recruitment needs to wait only 30 days and you can file PERM on the 31st day. There is no mention of working days or weekends, it is 30 continuous days. As you know in addition to this job bank order, and two Sunday newspaper ads, there has to be three other forms of recruitment before you can file PERM. If your employer and lawyer are really proactive it will only take 60 days to file PERM from start to finish. You also have to get a prevailing wage determination and post it at your job site for 10 days not including holidays and weekends. Hope this helps. You mentioned Stimulus package and ITIN issue, as I remember people with spouses having ITIN didn't get any rebate...
That is for the 2008 stimulus. They were going to do the same in 2009, but it was reversed at the last minute. I am sorry I could not get the 2008 stimulus overturned. The best we were able to do was the HEART Act, which only helps those who are active military. However, the 2009 stimulus is available for everyone. This time it is not a one time payment, but you will see a small increase in your monthly paycheck.

why dont you enlighten us all here with your english knowledge. i am pretty sure you are one cockroach who grew up in dirty gutter in some part of the world. You are here in IV just to create controversies between the IV members. Trust me, EB2 or EB3, we are smart enough to recognize tunnel rats like you and keep you where you belong - in the gutter...got it?
We know for sure nothing is going to happen with EB3 unless EB2 also moves. USCIS will never skip EB2 to help EB3. The law does not allow that. So, the interviewee must talk about the topic as a whole not EB2 or EB3 - no one in America knows what those mean.
The bigger issue is that not many can speak/write English well and so cannot be sent on TV....unless the interview is on Namaste India or something.

well I will take it :)
the weired part is no email even though I have "Y" in the settings.. I just happened to check the status online and have the below message for spouse and I
